The Forest Management Group (FMG) website was created to replace a very old and clumsy site which was becoming a liability for the legitimacy of the FMG brand.
We designed and built their new responsive site as an early test case for Hoppon, a site-design and -building tool designed to help agencies provide bespoke, on-brand web solutions for their clients without relying on the cost and overhead associated with developing from scratch. FMG wanted the functionality of a custom, brochure-style site showcasing the range and scope of their services without having to pay for a full-blown, full featured development. The huge range of features built into Hoppon meant that a solid theme with the desired functionality could be chosen as a starting point and then fully customised with CSS and add-on features to the standard that they needed.
As an alternative to proprietary services like Squarespace and Shopify, Hoppon’s open source solutions meant customisation was easy, transferrable (if ever required), and cost-effective. And more importantly, the result is a beautiful site that feels unique and personal and ultimately reinforces the FMG brand.
